Week 6

A beautiful week to finish our spring term! This week we have had plenty of opportunities to enjoy Easter themed activities as well as remembering the important events of Holy Week.

On Wednesday we held our penitential service with Father Pascal. We thought about the season of Lent and how we have been trying to be the best version of ourselves and how at times this might be difficult. At these times we can ask God to help us. On Thursday we had a prayerful reflection of the events of Holy Week. Willow class depicted Palm Sunday and they were brilliant at performing and singing for the rest of the school.

We have also had time to enjoy Easter crafts and fun. We have made Easter cards and nests and have enjoyed taking part in Easter egg phonics hunts!

On Friday we said to goodbye to Mrs Hadfield who is retiring. She has been a wonderful member of our Willow class team and we will really miss her. We wish her all the best for the next chapter!

It's been a wonderful term and the children have worked with enthusiasm and perseverance. We hope that you have a lovely Easter break and we look forward to welcoming you back for the summer term on April 22nd.
