If your child knows all the set 1 sounds please follow the set 2 speed sounds lesson - today's sound is 'oo' (look at a book)
If your child is accessing the set 2 speed sound lessons they can also join in with the set 2 spelling lesson.
Follow the link below and the new lessons will appear from 9.30am and are available for 24hours so can be accessed at any time of the day. These videos are quite short but a fantastic way of learning the sounds.
Reading
Today we have new books to have a read of. As a reminder the login for our oxford owl class account is on Tapestry but if you have problems please get in touch.
If you are working on the set 1 sounds please read sound blending book 7 by clicking on the link below. Remember to use your sounding out skills to read each word.
Word games
If you fancy playing a word game you can follow the link below and watch the videos about the sets of letter sounds and how to move them around to make words. You can either print off the letter sound cards from the link below or just make some by writing letters on pieces of paper and then cutting them up. You can then use them to move around and make words, eg moving the letters s, a, t and making the word sat. See how many words you can make.

Year 1 maths
Please watch the video first and the complete the sheet. As always, the questions get progressively tricky. The expectation is that the activity should take 30 minutes so wherever you are up to by this point, stop. If you wish to come back to it later on in the day you can! You can use items to help you count that you have in your house eg pencils, pasta or teddies!
