Level 3 'Bikeability' - Y6

  • 9.30am to 12.00pm: LC, MCO, ED, IF, PJ, JM, MM, IN
  • 12.45 pm to 15.15pm:  Will need to go to dinner at 12.15pm: MO, SP, WR, CS, JW, JW, MW...AR (?) LT(?)

Spelling Tests

Last spelling test of the year.  Please make sure you hand in your spelling books and spelling journals this week.

Year 5 Maths Paper 3

  • In box near drawers at the front
  • Teacher guide in bottom drawer of filing cabinet

Year 5 Buddy Letters

  1. Write the draft of a letter to be sent to one of the new children joining our school next year.
  2. Leave the 'name' part blank as your letter could be sent to any of the new children.
  3. Remember that your letter could go to a boy or girl and that it is the parents who will be reading it.
  4. Include the following information:

 

What to include:

  1. Who you are and why you are writing,
  2. Why they should be excited about starting St Paul's.
  3. What they might learn or do in the future (but make no promises)
  4. How the Y6 buddies will help them.
  5. Use letter structure.

Year 6 Speeches

  • Those of you not cycling in the morning need to complete your typed up leavers speech today.
  • Remember that this is an important and heart-felt moment which the whole school will see. It can be funny, but it must be appropriate and meaningful.
  • It needs to include:

 

  1. What you have achieved in your time at St Paul's - not just in lessons but socially, emotionally, personally etc?
  2. What are some key memories you have?- include KS1 teachers and staff as well as  KS2.
  3. Who do you want to thank and why? Think about all staff.
  4. What values are you leaving the school with and how will they help you?
  5. What are your dreams for the future?

Poynton Show Entries

  • For all of Year 5 and any Y6 present, to complete this morning.
  • A5 size design. See Mrs Wood for details of the competition.
