Aspire not to have more but to be more – St Oscar Romero
Good morning working from home troops! I hope you are all well and not missing us too much! We are thinking of you every day and can't wait until you come back! Fire Museum trip next week!
Today is a little different as I've swapped our Friday learning for today because I'm out of class for a while tomorrow and Friday. Mrs Poirrette will be with Mrs Tildsley in class but I will still plan our usual work!
So, today.... Friday's learning on a Wednesday. Don't get too confused!
We are doing;
The Wednesday Word - I'll include today's reflection
1)RWI - please practice your reading and phonics cards
2) Our Religion assessment on Chosen People
3) History - The Great Fire of London. Where did the fire start and why did it spread so quickly?
4)Art drawing Tudor houses - in school with charcoals but you can use pencils or paint.
Religion -
The power point should take you through our assessment and has videos to remind you of our learning.
History -
Again, the powerpoint will guide you through our learning and has an Espresso video linked in! If you need the password reminder it's
student 6922
password; stpauls
Don't miss the link on the last slide where you will hear a cat's story!
This is our worksheet; I'm actually going to enlarge it to A3 in school. Imagine you are a newspaper reporter; create a headline for the Great Fire, say when and where it started. Then, become an illustrator and illustrate where it started and why it spread so quickly. On the lines underneath explain your picture.
Our afternoon learning - Art - Illustrating Tudor Houses
Look through my powerpoint below which will enable you to look closely at Tudor houses. In class we will use charcoals. You will probably not have these at home, so use pencils, paints or collage materials to create you own Tudor house picture.
Ooops! I think I have added a year onto the date!!! 2022!!!
Have a lovely day and I hope you enjoy your learning.
