Aspire not to have more but to be more – St Oscar Romero
We hope that you enjoy your topic lessons this week. Please choose a different activity for each day.
Science
Your Science lesson learning about plants this week focuses on identifying and describing wild plants. You will hopefully find out the names of lots of new plants and then when you are out and about you will be able to tell your friends and family what they are called. Please use the slides to learn about the plants and then complete the worksheet from your Home Learning pack, either 3A or 3B. If I recall correctly, this page isn't printed in colour so before you start the lesson download the worksheets (found below) and colour the plants in before starting it. If you don't colour them in then the activity may be a little tricky!
Geography
This week you are going to learn about British seas and how they compare with other seas around the world. Use the slides and then complete the activities either 3A or 3B. You will have some pictures to talk about and then answer the questions. I wonder which sea you would like to paddle or swim in.
Computing
The online safety lesson this week involves a quiz and also some drawing! You will find the activity sheet to download below. This also includes the link to the video to watch.
PE
Please continue with your daily exercsise, whatever you prefer to do, whether its's walking, trampolining or playing football. You can join in with PE with Joe or Cosmic Kids Yoga if you wish.
Music
This week's music lesson is called 'My ship rolls over the ocean'. Have fun learning the new song and you can enjoy some of the other activities too.
Art
The Art lesson this week focuses on the work of Andy Goldsworthy. This sculptor loves to use curves in his work, both circles and spirals. Share the slides for this lesson and then create your own curved art work. You can use the resource in your Home Learning pack or choose one of the other activities from the document below. It would be lovely to see some of your creative work.
Father's Day Activities
Next Sunday (21st June) is Father's Day. Why not choose to do some of these activities for your Dad or Grandad. There are some ideas for cards which you could make, along with some other resources. I'm sure they would like to know how special you think the are.
