Half Term Bingo

I know it's half term, but there isn't a whole lot to do, so if you like you can take part in my half term bingo! Simply have a look at the bingo board before and try to do as many activities from it as you can! Take pictures, share with us and let us know how you fill your time!

You can choose if you would like to watch the Young Voices with David from yesterday's live lesson or you can do the BBC Ten Pieces session on instruments (look at the picture below to know what the section should look like). If you do this, you will need the worksheet below. 

 

Computing

L.O. To group objects.

In this lesson, you will produce a 3D model of a pencil holder. To do this, you will look at resizing objects to specific dimensions and you'll use the group tool to create holes in 3D objects.

Art

Today is the Lunar New Year also known as Chinese New Year. Each year in the lunar calendar is represented by an animal. 2021 in the year of the Ox. You can watch the video below to find out more about the story of the Ox. Then, you can learn to draw an ox by watching one of the two videos below. 

River Art

Co-incidentally, you can learn how to draw an ox-bow lake here, or just take some time to improve general drawing skills by using the river bed method from the videos below.
