The Weetabix Protein Youth Challenge

The ASICS London 10k and Weetabix Protein, are inviting you to take part in a virtual nationwide running initiative, to encourage you to get moving.  You will be asked to complete 1km per day across a 10 week period, starting 25th May.  For those who don't want to actually go running, you can join their virtual weekly family fitness sessions.

For everyone who signs up, Weetabix will donate a breakfast drink to 'FareShare', the food redistribution charity, who are taking food to vulnerable people during this time.

Entry is free and open to anyone 16 and under.  When you have completed the challenge you will receive an exclusive t-shirt and medal.  Click on the link below to register.

English.

LO: To write your own short story

Continue to write your story that you started yesterday.  Look at yesterday's English lesson if you need a reminder.

Have you turned it into a book?

Could you create the book in publisher if you have it on your device?

I've posted a few resources you could choose to use if you wish.

OR: Join me on the Podcast at 9:30.  If you were listening yesterday you'd have heard several shout-outs to St Paul's.

Maths:

Again, we have three different outcomes for you today, depending on what you have been working on during the week.

Y5/6: If you have been working on grid method, try multiplying larger numbers today.  I've posted the answers to the TUxTU from yesterday so go back if anything needs correcting.

OR

Y5/6: If you are using the White Rose videos this week, you have some perimeter work.

OR

Y6: If you are working on your fractions, it's adding and subtracting with mixed numbers!

Year 5/6: If you are choosing to develop your grid multiplication method, have a go at these to revise this week's work and I'll post the answers on Monday!

Here are the answers to yesterday's grid method questions. Go back and have a go at the ones you got wrong.

Year 5/6: If you are following the video lessons, then it's perimeter today on White Rose, so this is a good chance for you to make sure you remember what we did a few weeks ago.
