During the 2nd Half of the Spring Term, we will be reading Escape from Pompeii to complement the learning we will be doing in Geography about volcanoes, earthquakes and other natural disasters.
This term, we will be reading 'Secrets of a Sun King' by Emma Carroll, which links to our topic of Ancient Egypt.
We gave each other instructions of how to mummify a body. We used imperative verbs to give instructions.
The Story of Isis and Osiris
We learnt the story of Isis and Osiris by reading a short playscript. We then changed the script into a story and wrote it adding lots more detail.
