Aspire not to have more but to be more – St Oscar Romero

Tuesday 19th May

English

L.O. To read and understand a text

You can choose an animal that you are interested in from the reading comprehensions below. Within each one, there are 3 levels of difficulty.  Choose the one that will challenge you!

You do not have to do them all!

Maths

L.O. To recognise lines of symmetry

Work through the Powerpoint to  find out about symmetry. There is a sheet of shapes that you can either print out or draw.   Cut them out and you can  fold each one to find out if they have lines of symmetry.

When you've done that the 2nd sheet is for you to have a go at drawing lines of symmetry and also completing shapes.

Science

L.O. To learn about the life cycle of a plant

I don't think that the links on last week's science worked so here is an alternative  video that you can watch and the correct powerpoint about seed dispersal.  Aoife & Lottie went for a walk to find different kinds of seeds. Maybe you could do that too!

If you have done that,  you can use the science lesson on the Oak Academy site. The link is below.
