Adding Description

Last week, we all wrote 5 part stories using just 5 sentences. Now we have our plots, we have been adding description into each section. We are hoping to enter our stories into the Radio 2 500 words competition!

Real life Heroes

To begin our superhero topic, we chose a real life hero who we looked up to and admired. We then wrote a report about out hero's life and the reasons why we look up to them. Read some of our reports here:

Sweets and Treats

At the end of the unit of work, we wrote back to Sweets and Treats to tell them about all the work we had been doing. We had to describe our treats and try to persuade Mr. King that each one was the best. Here are some examples of our letters.

Sweets and Treats

Keller class received a very exciting letter from Sweets and Treats, inviting us to design and make new chocolate Treats. It looks like we are going to have a busy term!

How to mummify a body!

In English, we pretended to mummify each other so we could remember the steps of Ancient Egyptian mummification. We then wrote instructions to explain to somebody else how to do it.
