History

Learning from Artefacts

We looked at a range of artefacts related to British monarchs throughout the ages. We used the evidence to explore the changing role of monarchs over time.

Exploring the tomb!

We recreated the excitement of Howard Carter discovering the tomb of Tutankhamun. Children had to work in teams to explore the artefacts and work out what these could tell them about life in Ancient Egypt and their beliefs. It was very exciting!

Timelines!

We started our history this year by looking at ordering some key events from the past 65 million years! We learned to use the terms AD and BC to talk about when some events happened.
