Thursday 30th April

Good morning Year 1's. I hope that you are bright and breezy this morning and are having a good week. smileyI can't believe it is the last day of April.

Your maths learning for today is below, but all of our other activities are on our 'Everybody Week 4' page.

Our Maths Learning Today

Today we will be looking at arrays in both  rows and columns.

To help you to remember, rows are like seats in a cinema or church. They go across. Columns hold things up and go from top to bottom.

You will need some counting objects (for example, pasta spirals, coins, sweets, lego bricks) to help you to make your own arrays.

Pictures to help you remember rows go across like seats in a cinema and columns support building by going up.
