Good morning everyone and welcome to Wednesday. I hope you are having a good week so far. You may notice the sunshine icon for this page, I chose it to try and bring back the lovely, warm weather  and also because I accidentally clicked on the button which allowed me to change our usual stars into something else!!!smiley My technology talents are growing!

Not growing quite enough to make me confidently do our Wednesday Word through Zoom however. Mrs Smith was very brave last week, but I would be worried I would have you staring at a blank screen for 15 minutes and so this week's Wednesday Word can be found on our 'St Pauls's Video' page. Please follow the link below.

Please find below a copy of The Wednesday Word leaflet - this week the word is 'Nourish' ...

Planning sheet for making a 'Happiness Box.'

Our Literacy Learning for today... starting our biography on Jacques Cousteau...

For this task you will need

  • Your Jacques Cousteau Biography planners from last week; today we will be using your ideas from 'Jacques as a child.'
  • If you would like to hear either of the books from last week again I include the links below. For 'Manfish' I have found a 'You Tube' version to save you from looking at my sideways version again!!!frown
  • I also include reminder sheets below of conjunctions; which are words that join our sentences together and make them more detailed and interesting. You may also like to refer to the 'Adjectives' list from the first learning pack you brought home.

Hear ‘The Fantastic Undersea Life of Jacques Cousteau again from this link...

And ‘Manfish’ from this ‘You Tube’ link...

You will need your planners...

Year 1 aim to use these conjunctions to join your ideas together...

Year 2 see if you can use some of these...

Making a little book for our Jacques Cousteau biography...

You will find a few pieces of A3  cartridge/ art  paper in your new packs. Using this paper will enable you to use water colours on your illustrations...

If you don't have this you can use different paper or your green books. smiley
