Aspire not to have more but to be more – St Oscar Romero
Good morning everyone! I hope you are managing to make it through the last few days. This week we know how tired many of you are because you have given your all and have done your very best. So I hope the next few days will be enjoyable, rewarding and a chance to say well done!
Our Learning Today.
Reading and phonics - the final read of this weeks books...
I have to say that I really enjoyed reading this book. I wonder if you know which safari animals are herbivores and carnivores. It's the animals who are carnivores who are the most dangerous in the Kenyan grasslands because they are looking for food - and that food is other animals!
I'll show you a little bit more about that this afternoon, but for now see how fluently you can read now you are very familiar with the book. Don't forget to answer the questions at the back! I think you will do very well!

Year 1
Today we continue our work on finding one more or less than a given number to 50. This is the same worksheet as you had yesterday so after watching your teaching video try to complete it!
Year 2
Today you look at how to complete and interpret pictograms. You would think that I had planned this because it's got … safari animals on it!
Our Afternoon Learning
Firstly, a video to warm your heart! This lovely man takes his piano to centres where elephants have been rescued due to injury or blindness. He plays his piano to soothe them and bring them some enjoyment. What a kind thing to do. Do you think the elephants are enjoying his music?
