Hello our jungle buddies! We hope your are enjoying finding out about life in the jungle! This week we will carry on with these topic activities and you can choose one to do each day or if you have a day when you are less busy you might want to do some together, it is your choice! If you do complete any of these activities don't forget to share them with us! We love to see what you are up to! smiley

Understanding the world - Identifying animals

This week we continue to learn about different types of animals - we will be finding out about birds and reptiles. We will investigate what is the same and what is different about them. Please follow the presentation below and then choose from the worksheet challenges which you would like to complete. 

Understanding the world - Let's go to the jungle

This week we will be finding out about mangrove forests and their unique plants and animals. Please follow the presentation and choose from one of the worksheet challenges or if you fancy something a little different you can pretend you are a tour guide and guide your family through the mangrove explaining what they might expect to see and hear! 

Art activity

This weeks animal art takes us to Asia, home of the Indian elephant. Watch the power point and have a go at creating your own elephant art using the template provided (or alternatively draw in your home learning book). Please send us pictures of your colourful creations!

Mindfulness

If you watched Mrs Davies Wednesday word last week you will remember the word was 'nourish'. On the link below you will find 5 easy and practical mindfulness activities for children to use to self-regulate, calm down, tune into their listening and sharpen concentration. We hope you enjoy! smiley
