Welcome once again to our pick and mix of afternoon activities. Feel free to complete as many of the activities as you like, or you might like to create your own activity about our topic 'pesky pirates'. If you do complete any of the activities please remember to share them with us via tapestry, the school blog or by emailing them to us at drake@stpauls.cheshire.sch.uk

Music

Follow the link below to the BBC 'sun, sea and song' page to take another adventure over the seas with Suki. You might like to complete lessons 4,5 or 6 to listen to all the songs in this topic.

Intrepid Explorers

We continue our mission to find out about our intrepid explorers and continue thinking about Neil Armstrong. How would he have felt when he took those first steps on the moon? Do you remember how Christopher Columbus brought things back from his voyages, do you think Neil Armstrong brought anything back from space? What would you bring back?

Have a look at the presentation below and then choose your challenge by having a look at the worksheets and which activity you would like to complete. You don't need to print off the worksheet you can just write the answers to your questions in your green home learning book. smiley

Plants

We have looked at lots of different types of plants. Next we are going to look at the different parts of a plant. You might even like to have a look in your garden and see if you identify some of the parts of a plant there. Have a look at the presentation and then have a look at the worksheets and you can choose the challenge you would like to complete. Alternatively if you prefer not to print one of the sheets out you can have a look at the last document below which is a picture of a flower and the labels and see if you can copy the picture into your home learning book and label the parts of the plant yourself.

Art Activity- Have a look at the power point and challenge cards and have a go creating your own sculpture in the style of Andy Goldsworthy!
