Here are the details for today's Read Write Inc lessons:

Set 1 speed sounds - today's sound is nk

Set 1 word time

Set 1 spellings

Set 2 speed sounds - today's sound is ar

Set 2 spellings

Red words 1 lesson and hold a sentence 1 lesson

If you are feeling really confident about Set 2 sounds you can begin Set 3 sounds.

Today's set 3 sound is ew

Reading

Have a second read today of the book you read yesterday. If you only managed one or two sentences yesterday see if you can read the whole story today. Remember to practise the green and red words first to warm up your sound brains!

Blending

Have a practise and blending some letters to read words. You can write letters on pieces of paper and put them in order to spell simple words and ask you child to sound out and blend the letters to read the words or if you fancy something different you can have a go at 'bouncy blending' have a look below for more details. You don't have to use the hoops if you don't have any and you could write the letters on the ground with chalk or water.

Reception maths

Today you are continuing to look at representing 9 and 10. Today it is session 2 video and then the activity to follow.

Year 1 maths

Today you are using your knowledge of numbers to 50 to order numbers. Watch the video and complete the sheet.
