Design and Technology

Coming soon... Science and technology come together as we make our scarecrows!

As part of our learning about St. George and the role of Knights in the past, our super year 1 children designed and made their own Knight's  helmets.

This meant understanding the purpose of the helmet and what it needed to have to enable the knight to be safe, breathe and see! Some of us chose special 'metal effects' which which we drew, cut and attached, while some of us wanted the Red Cross of St. George to be visible. Here is our process, in pictures, from our designs to the finished product.
