Stone Age Houses - Skara Brae
We learnt about the neolithic houses which were excavated on the Orkney Islands. We recreated the houses of the Skara Brae settlement using salt dough. They had to include a central fire pit and beds.
The Mystery of Thunderstone at Manchester Museum
Keller class enjoyed solving the mystery of the Stone Age artefacts. They had the chance to excavate like archaeologists, sort out ancient Stone Age tools from rocks and find out how the tools were used.
