PSHE and Proud Moments

As part of our NSPCC fundraising day, Christie came in and spoke to us about the important work the NSPCC do. She also made us very aware that if we are worried about anything or if anyone is doing anything that makes us feel uncomfortable then we must tell a trusted grown up.
We have invited our parents in to talk to us about the jobs that they do. What they had to work hard at to be able to do their job, what character strengths you need and what they enjoy or don't enjoy about their role. Inspector Derbyshire came in to speak to us about being in the police. We loved hearing about all the different ways in which they serve our communities. We laughed when he arrested Mrs Davies.
