Art and Design

Djembe Drums

In art, we made Djembe drums. We cut out the bases of the coffee cups we were kindly donated by Costa and stuck them together. Then we used papier mache to make them stronger and decorated them.

Animal Art

We practised our sketching skills in art by focusing on one part of a photograph of a zebra. The children ripped pieces of paper and stuck them over the original photograph and then sketched the missing parts. The children loved this activity and the results were great!
