Investigating the weather

We looked at the weather in our own locality. Then we made up our own weather symbols.

Weather Detectives

We used non-fiction books and the internet to find out about different ways that the weather can be recorded.

Volcanoes!

Year 4 did a research project to find out about Volcanoes. Each group used De Bono's thinking hats to work in a group, making sure that they each had a role within the group. At the end of the unit, they created a PowerPoint presentation which they used to teach the Year 3 children what they had learnt.
