Wednesday 29th April

Good morning Year 2's. I hope that today finds you safe and well and that you have had a good week so far. Please could I ask you to refer to our 'Everybody week 4' page for all of our learning activities today, except for your maths which is below.

Maths Learning

Today our maths learning continues with our work on fractions. We have been learning about halves and quarters and today we look at thirds. When we share a whole group or set into 3 parts. Please watch lesson 2 on the PowerPoint below and then from your maths worksheet pack 'Week commencing 27th April' find the sheets 'Recognise a third.' Copies are below and if you would like an extra challenge try the problem solving tasks under the three star sheets (the last page).
