Autumn 1- During this half term we have been focussing on place value and number. Year 1 have been counting, sorting and ordering numbers using a variety of resources and practical manipulatives. Whilst Year 2 have been recognising the place value of 2 digit numbers using different representations such as the part whole model and dienes. Both year groups have been practising their fluency of number facts by recalling number bonds to 10 and 20.
