Phonics and reading

 

As I mentioned last week the plans for phonics and reading each week will be very similar with the reading focus just being on a different book.

 

10am – watch live Set 2 Speed Sounds lesson.

 

10.30am - watch live Set 3 Speed Sounds lesson. Please remember to complete the spelling part of the lesson too.

Maths

Today's maths lesson is focusing on adding equal groups. Use the PowerPoint presentation lesson 5 to learn about adding equal groups. Then complete the worksheet in your pack. If you want more challenge then please download the worksheets below (2 and 3 star sheets). There is also an additional activity called 'adding group match up' if you want to keep busy!

Music

Today we are going to be learning a 'Pirate song.' Follow lesson 1 below to learn the song, listen out for the rests and try and hear the rhythm in the song. I hope you enjoy!
