Making Roman Style Buildings
We used our knowledge of columns and Roman buildings to create our own models. We used triangles to reinforce the pediment onto the roof of the building.
Investigating Columns
We investigated which shaped columns were the strongest by making different prisms and seeing which could hold the most weight. We found out that cylinders were the strongest shape shape. They could hold up to 1700g!
Marble Runs
We have been investigating marble runs and will be making our own. We looked at different types of marble runs and then began the process or designing, making and testing our runs.
