In circle time we explored one of our school values ‘Stewardship’
We learnt how to see situations from a different point of view using SUMO strategies.
We love our forest school sessions where we learn to work as a team and experience new things!
We worked as a team to complete some parachute games
We sang “Love shine a light” in our Mother’s Day Assembly. The children sang beautifully, well done Drake and Galileo class.
We learnt about how to keep outrage teeth healthy with a visit from dental playbox. We practised brushing the animals teeth
We celebrated Downs Syndrome Awareness day by wearing our odd socks and buying gingerbread socks!
We identified which food was healthy to put in the lunch box.
Plenty of imaginative play in our milk bottle igloo!
We listened to a story and made up a song with Jingle in our physical literacy session.
The children worked in groups to act out a story that they had made up. We had some imaginative and exciting drama with clear speaking voices and props and costumes.
We took part in the NSPCC talk pants and stay safe session. We learnt the pants rule, designed our own pants and enjoyed singing the pantasauraus song!
Jingle from Artis came in to work with Drake class. We thought about different types of water and then had to work with a partner to act it out. We had to use plenty of talk and teamwork so that other people could guess what we were!
We celebrated World Kindness day by talking about what makes a good friend
