Monday 18th May

Singing with the Smiths

Don't forget that you can start your day with a song to get you going for the week!

English

L.O. To use contractions in sentences.

Last week, you completed a puzzle using contractions, words which have been made up from two words  joined together. This morning, you can try using these contractions in sentences.  Click on the link to get to the padlet. Write a sentence using a contraction and then write it again using the two separate words. For example:

I  could have worked faster.  I could've worked faster.

I will be online checking between 9:30 and 10:30 to approve your comments and give you some feedback. If you can't get on during this time, don't worry, I will check again later in the day.

Maths

L.O. To sort shapes

Look at the sheet below showing different shapes. You can either draw these shapes, or print them out.  How many different ways can you   sort them out?  Explain all the different ways that you  find.

Can you name all of the shapes?
