This Week's Maths Homework - Multiplication
Spellings
As today was looking quite full already for the first day back, I've posted the spelling tests on Tuesday. I hope this is welcome news.
Maths - Year 5
Over the next few weeks you will be focusing on improving the accuracy and presentation of your written multiplication. The lessons will get gradually more tricky, so make sure you don't miss any lessons out!
LO: To multiply 4 digits by 1 digit
Maths - Year 6
I have managed to re-jiggle the maths outcomes around again, so that we can cover fractions when we are back in school. Over the next few weeks we are going to continue with our work on area and perimeter. This progresses on from the work we did last half term. Don't forget, Year 6, that you can ALSO do the Year 5 lessons, if you need to improve your understanding of multiplication.
LO: To work out the area of shapes
Spanish
LO: To say 'it is' or 'isn't' a certain pet
RE
Today we will be continuing to learn about inspirational people who have lived out the beatitudes. We will be learning about the extraordinary life of Edith Stein (1891-1942) who lived during World War 2. You will learn about Edith Stein and why she is an example of someone who lived out the beatitude, 'blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.'
LO. To Know why Jesus blessed the pure in heart and reflect on the presence of God within you.
Please don't panic when you see today's lesson, you have today and Friday's RE lesson time to complete it.
PE
Three mini-lessons today, for you to complete and have fun with.
