Good morning Year 2's. I hope you are all well. Your maths learning for today is below. All of our other learning opportunities for today are on our 'Everybody Week 6' page. I include the link below.

Our Maths Learning Today

 

See presentation. Today you  will use your knowledge of halves, thirds and quarters to count in fractions. You will see that fractions can be larger than one whole and you will look at pictorial representations for them. You will explore fractions on a number line and will shade pictures to represent this.

Ask questions such as:
What are the fractions going up in?
What would come next in the pattern?
What patterns can you spot?
Continue the pattern…
