All Hallows Catholic College - Our Partner Secondary School

At St Paul’s Catholic Primary school, we are very fortunate to have an Ofsted graded “outstanding” (2011 and 2014) partner Secondary School, which is All Hallows Catholic College in Macclesfield.  Children from St Paul’s Catholic Primary School, irrespective of their faith background, are given priority in the admissions criteria over children from schools which are not the official “feeder” primary schools.  All Hallows has superb results every year at GCSE and A Level with a proven track record of over 94% of students gaining 5+ A*-C grades at GCSE, with over 65% of students achieving English and Maths (based on a three year average). The school’s “value added” score, which is the figure which assesses student progress, is consistently well above national averages. At A level, All Hallows typically has a 100% pass rate with average grades for students being AAB. The students’ progression rate to university compares well with selective grammar schools, with over a third of students going to the traditional ‘Russell Group’ universities. They are also keen to ensure that students progress to the right courses and places for them including the Cathedral group of universities and degree equivalent apprenticeships.

As part of their exciting transition programme for pupils joining all All Hallows Catholic College, the children are invited to a three day residential programme at Liverpool Hope University to start thinking about life after school!”
