Maths EYFS

We have been practising our halving this week.

We created addition sentences and then solved them using cubes. We wrote our number sentences on whiteboards.

In our maths we had to make towers of cubes and then find someone whose tower had more than ours.

Our challenge this week was to measure the Smartest Giant in Town’s footprints using cubes.

Using the tape measure in the baby clinic to measure the babies.

We were challenged to count the items on the ticket and then find the matching numeral.

Our maths challenge this week was to solve the number sentences. We used the maths resources to help us.

We have been learning how to tell the time. We have been learning O’clock and half past times

We have been using the balance to weigh how heavy items are and then ordering them according to their weight.

This week we were using the language of money to buy things at our toy shop.

Our challenge this week was to order the numbers to 20.

We used our counting skills to count the spots to find the key that matched the numbered padlock

Our maths challenge this week was to plant a number line!

Our maths challenge this week was to find the missing numbers from the number line.

We made a number line to 20 out of maths resources.

We matched the number of spots with the numeral on the cup.

We counted the correct number of beads to match the numeral and threaded them onto the pipe cleaner

Using 2d shapes to create pictures.
