Our Local Area Maps
Having looked at different maps and how they are presented, and inspired by studying Poynton on Google Earth, we created our own maps of The town of Poynton. We discussed which features were human and physical and we then added commonly used symbols to highlight important places on our maps. We also used the compass points to direct our partner around our map.
Would you rather live in Kenya or England?
We did a fabulous job of learning about Kenya, the Maasai tribe, landscape, animals, African masks and jewellery during our remote learning. Our display is a celebration of just some of the amazing work we produced. 🙌
