If your child is accessing the set 2 speed sound lessons they can also join in with the set 2 spelling lesson.

Reading

Today we have new books for you to read.

Please follow the link below to either the sound blending book or the Ditty sheets and read Ditty 12 'a bash'

Remember as today is the first read lots of support on sounding out the words and blending the sounds to make the word. 

Tricky word game

This is a really nice game for practising spelling tricky words. You will have to select year 1, but don't worry we have covered some of these words in class as part of our tricky word sessions. If spelling the word is too tricky for our reception children please focus on just reading each word. have fun.
