We had a visit from the council community support officers. They told us about the job they do keeping our community safe

We learnt about being respectful citizens and discussed littering and dog fouling

Mrs Marchant came in to speak to us about the work of Amnesty International. We learnt that it’s our right to have a friend and how friends should behave towards each other.

We found out about democracy and voting. We voted for which movie we wanted to watch on movie night.

As part of our global understanding lesson, we discussed how we are all different and how this changes the way we look at the world.

During Anti-bullying week we watched a video and discussed the theme of 'Choose Respect' and how to be a kind friend

Our Remembrance Day display with our printed poppies.

We watched an animation about the reason for Remembrance Sunday and observed 2 minutes silence to think about the soldiers that fight for our country.

We have been learning about Elmer the elephant and celebrating our differences. We made a collage to show we are all special and unique!
