Learning about plants and trees in the school grounds

Today Year 2 had to plan their own investigation to find out which material would be the best, to make rain clothes for a bear. They had to assign roles, consider how to keep the test fair and decide how to record their results.

Today Galileo Class searched for mini-beasts, to observe them in their micro-habitats.

We sorted rubbish into materials that can be recycled or reused and materials that have to be put into landfill. Then, we sorted pictures of different recyclable materials into the correct bins!

We have been learning about materials in Galileo Class.
