No maths lesson today as we are using the time for Internet Safety Day activities, but make sure you are up-to-date with your My Maths!

Safer Internet Day 2021

Today is Safer Internet Day, so today the morning will be dedicated to ways we can stay safe online.

  1. Be Smart: Understand how and what to share with those you know and those you don't;
  2. Be Alert: Know how to tell the difference between the real and the fake;
  3. Be Strong: Create powerful passwords to keep important information safe;
  4. Be Kind: Show others kindness and disempower bullying behaviour;
  5. Be Brave: Know the importance if talking to trusted adults about what you do online.

Play your way to Internet Awesome.

We are going to be using a platform called 'Interland' for our learning this morning and I suggest you save the link, as it's a resource I will be asking you to use again in the future.  Interland is an adventure-packed online game that makes learning about digital safety and citizenship interactive and fun—just like the Internet itself.

Help your fellow Internauts combat badly behaved hackers, phishers, oversharers, and bullies by practicing the skills you need to be good digital citizens.

Complete each 'land' and you can download certificates at the end of each one.  Show me a picture of all your certificates and you will receive another special one through the post!

Enjoy! ;)

I recommend using earphones if possible, as some of the sounds make great use of the two speakers.
