English

L.O.  To write an account of  your half term.

We'll finish off this half term as we started it: write a  report about this half term. Try to use paragraphs to organise your writing and some of the grammar features we have been practising such as contractions, headings and subheadings.

You might want to write about:

  • why we are still learning from home
  • what  you have learnt
  • what has been the best activity that you have done
  • what you have been doing apart from school work (for example: exercise,  family zoom meetings, playing games, etc)
  • what you would like to do next half term!
  • the best and worst things about the current situation

I am looking forward to reading your reports. laugh

Maths

L.O. To complete a symmetrical picture

Look at the challenge cards below: There is a selection of different pictures that  you can choose from. You can do as many as you want! There is one half of a picture: complete the picture by making it symmetrical across the mirror line.

History

L.O. To put events in chronological order

Last week, you found out some facts about Lyme Park and write them in your yellow book. This week, have a look at all the dates that you wrote down, with the event that happened at that time and rewrite them in chronological order (time order, starting with the oldest date). Here is the link to the video if you'd like to watch it again.
