Maths

Today you are going to continue to learn about describing position. Share the PowerPoint presentation lesson 4 and discuss the following questions:

What is in front / behind you?
What is to your left / right / above / below?
How we can describe the position of ___?

You then have two activities to complete for today's lesson. The first practical activity is called 'What will you see?' where you will explore what you can see around you and describe it. Then you will have another activity writing sentences describing what you can see. You will be using the new language;  top, middle, bottom, above, below, left and right to describe the position. Once you have completed this there is another optional challenge called 'Position grids' which you may enjoy.
