History

Bramall Hall

As part of our work on local history, we went to visit Bramall Hall to find out how people may have lived there during the Tudor Period. We made music using Tudor instruments, sorted out the type of food rich and poor people may have eaten, tried on clothing, made nosegays from rose petals and lavender and wrote using feather quills.

Stone Age Homes

We found out about houses during the Stone Age, including those found in the village of Skara Brae in the Shetland Islands. We used the information to build our own models of Stone Age houses.

Timelines

We learnt what BC and AD means and then used this information to order events from the dinosaurs to the present day.
