Geography / Computing

LO: To prepare a presentation for the class about endangered animals

  1. Today you will be making a presentation about endangered animals.
  2. Those of you who are at school today, will be working in your groups to use the research you've been gathering to make your presentation.
  3. If you are learning at home, then you might need to look back at Wednesday 3rd November and Tuesday 9th November so that you can remind yourself about what you were doing.  If you think you need to repeat those lessons, then please do.
  4. Use presentation software such as PowerPoint to create your presentation.

 

You must:

  • Use correct spelling and punctuation;
  • Form your own sentences from the facts you found;
  • Include reasons why we need to protect these animals from extinction and how we might  help to do that;
  • Include reasons why deforestation is harming animals and how we can help;
  • Include photos.

 

You could:

  • Include animations or slide transitions;
  • Include illustrations, diagrams or short hyperlinks to videos;
  • Include a quiz;
  • Include voice or sound files.

 

Make sure you focus on making the Presentation look smart and make sure you test that it works.
