The Sorting Ceremony

As part of our work on Harry Potter, we were ‘sorted’ into the Houses of Hogwarts. We read the Sortong Hat Poem and found examples of rhythm and rhyme.  We looked at the chraracter strengths of each house and used dictionaries to find out what these strengths mean.

500 Words

We have been busy writing our stories to enter into the Radio 2 writing competition, 500 words!

Paragraphs

As part of our work about Dick King-Smith, we wrote a biography of his life. We had facts and were learning how to organise them into paragraphs.
