Perspective

Painting 'en plein air'

We made the most of the warm spring weather to paint outside, just as Monet did. We sketched what we could see and painted with water colours.

Impressionist painting

We looked at Monet's River Thames series of impressionist paintings and tried to recreate them using 4 main colours of paint.

Making Party Hats

In DT, we designed and made party hats ready for the Christmas party!

Clay Pots

We used clay to make coil pots. During the Stone Age, they made pots out of the clay which they found in the ground.

Poppies for Remembrance Sunday

To mark the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I, we created silhouettes of poppies against a sunset. We created the sunset effect by using a colour wash. The silhouettes were made with tissue paper.
