Week 3

Another busy week of learning in Willow Class! Our drawing club text this week was 'Keep Smiling!' by Floella Benjamin. We learnt about the importance of sharing a smile and the children drew and narrated some lovely drawings about the story. We have also used the text The Oak Tree and used this as a basis for our 'past and present' learning. We explored some old artefacts in class and tried to work out what they did and how they worked. The children were really engaged and offered some great ideas and suggestions.

In RE this week we read the story 'Guess how much I love you'. We thought about how much God loves each of them and painted pictures describing how 'Gods love is bigger than....' We had some super suggestions including bigger than a house and bigger than a mountain!

We have really enjoyed our PE sessions this week with Mr Tweedy. They took part in some dance activities and really listened well to his instructions.

Well done Willow Class for another super week!
