Aspire not to have more but to be more – St Oscar Romero

RE

This week we listened to the story of creation from Genesis. We each created a plate depicting part of creation and then acted out the creation story using the video prompt.

Today we learnt about God creating the wonderful world and all the things that live on it!

Today we listened to the story ‘Guess how much I love you?’. We talked about who loves them and how God loves us so much. In fact his love for us is bigger than....the children thought of some brilliant examples. “ God love is bigger than a mountain!” “Gods love is bigger than the school,”

Today we had a quiet prayer circle. We showed them a very special book called the Bible which tells us all about God, Jesus and helps us to make right choices. We thought about the ways which we can be kind and used our prayer pebbles to ask God to help us to be kind. We practised talking to God in prayer by making the Sign of the Cross.
