Mexican Cooking

We first tried foods with different tastes to know the difference between sweet and salty. After this, the children conducted market research about the Mexican dip market by trying different dips and tortilla chips. They then looked at recipes for different dips to create their own recipe. Next, the children made their dips, learning a variety of skills including how to use a knife and a bridge and claw grip to chop an onion. The children then tried their dips, tweaked their recipes and then evaluated their product, before sitting down to try our dips as a class.
