We investigated how the pitch of a skin could be changed by changing how tightly it was stretched and the size it was stretched over.

Investigating Stretched strings

In preparation for making our own instruments, we have been investigating how sounds can be changed using stretched strings. We found out that the pitch and volume can change by altering the thickness, length and tightness of the strings.
