Aspire not to have more but to be more – St Oscar Romero

Week beginning 8th November

On Friday, remember to complete a 192 challenge (give yourself 10 minutes) and a spelling test. You can find the sheets that you need on the home learning tab.

Follow the link to find Purple Mash, which contains activities and lessons to complete by clicking on the '2dos' tab. I have sent an email containing your login details. If you have any trouble, please email me: sycamore@stpauls.cheshire.sch.uk

English

We will be working on these descriptions over a few days in school making improvements and discussing vocabulary choices to create interest and impact for the reader. If you have finished yours, you can do the following activities or do the appropriate English work pack from the top page of the Remote Learning Resources.

Maths

Please follow the link below to get to MyMaths. There will be work set each day.

If you don't have flash player from the link in the PPT, you can use this video instead.

Music

On Tuesday, we do music with Mr Eccles, so remember to practise your instrument! See if you can remember how to play Hot Cross buns.

You can also follow the link below to do the Ten Pieces Lesson. Scroll down the page until you see the activity below based on the piece of music called Music for 18 musicians'.

RE

Work through the presentation to find out about the life of Zechariah and how he trusted in God.

Do you think his story sounds similar to anyone we learnt about from the Old Testament last term?

If you want to watch the full episode of Superbook, you will need to register for an account. (It's free!)

The worksheet can be used by either using the sheet as it is, or by sticking the first sheet on top of the second, so that you can create flaps to answer the trickier questions on the flap behind.
