Phonics

Please continue to join the Read write inc lessons following the link. All the lessons are now available from 9.30 am each morning. You might want to complete the spelling lesson too.

There are also some lessons for reading longer words if your child is becoming confident with set 3 sounds they might like to have a go at this lesson or there are some lessons for teaching the 'red' or tricky words which would be a great extra activity for practising those tricky words. You will find that some of the lessons are repeating but it is still good to practise the sounds to keep them fresh in you head!

Reading

Read the book 'Nancy Roman's Space telescope' again today. Once you have read the book answer the questions found at the back of the book, you will find these on pages 14 and 15. You can either talk about the text or write the answers in your Home Learning book. smiley

Maths

Yesterday we started our trial of  a slightly different maths presentation this week; which includes videos of our learning focus. We hope that you enjoyed this yesterday. Today we continue to look  again at number and place value to 100. Today we revise our previous learning on partitioning numbers...smiley

Our worksheet task for today... print out or record your answers in your green books...

If you fancy an extra challenge you can play the 'post the letter' game below to practise your place value recognition.
