Mr Stephen Robinson
I am married to Caroline and we have two children, Holly and Peter, who attended St Paul’s and currently attend All Hallows Catholic College. My working profession is in engineering and project management and I have a personal interest in education. I hope that all children feel happy in school, and that they each can achieve their individual potential. I fully support the ethos and values of St Paul’s and feel privileged to be the Chair of Governors.
Mr Richard Cantillon
I have had the privilege of being a governor at St.Paul's since 1997 when I was elected as Parent Governor. I have been a Foundation Governor since 2004. I spent six years "in the Chair" and several years as Vice-chair, a position I currently hold. I have also spent two years as a Governor at All Hallows' one of our Academy Trust partners.
All three of our children completed their primary education at St.Pauls' over a continuous period of 16 years during which time I came to believe what a special school and community it is.
I am at present on the Finance and Buildings Committee and the Personnel Committee. I am also responsible for monitoring and evaluation.
I am a general dental practitioner and we have owned and run our practice in New Mills for nearly 30 years.
Mr John Brogan
I have served as a Foundation Governor at St Paul's for many years, serving on the Finance and Buildings sub-committee and currently holding the position of Vice-Chair of the Governing Body. My involvement with St Paul's stretches back to the year 2000 when my son started in Year 1, with my daughter following a few years later. The extremely positive and friendly vibe emanating from the school is something that has always been present and I hope that my involvement as a governor and links with St Paul's parish assist in helping the school maintain the high standards for which it is renowned.
From a business perspective I am also able to offer the school my many years of experience gained in senior finance and IT management roles within different business sectors.
Mrs Lil Scoot
As a mum to Hattie who currently attends St. Paul's, I have a real interest in the school's development and like any other parent I want the very best for my child. I have the time, commitment and enthusiasm to support the school in maintaining their high standards, and being in the playground most days I am accessible to the other parents within school.
In my spare time I love to read, sew and enjoy many other craft activities.
Mrs Lucy Ricketts
I have been the teacher governor at St Paul's Catholic Primary since March 2015. I currently teach in Drake Class part-time. I have two children who attend St Paul's and I am an active member of the Parish.
Mrs Helen Jackson
My children attend St Paul's school, and I am privileged to serve on the Governing Body. I am a Chartered member of the CIPD (HR professional body) and serve on the school's Personnel Committee. I have over ten years’ experience working in strategic senior management roles in the Civil Service. I want my children to be happy, safe and secure at St Paul’s school, so that they can achieve their potential and be ready for moving to the next stage in their education when that time comes. As a Governor, I want to achieve these aspirations for all our children. As a family we support the Catholic, caring ethos of the school.
